Dictation is not conversation

Most of what gets called Urdu voice AI is speech-to-text: you speak, it types, you read a reply. That is a keyboard replacement. This is a conversation — she speaks back, you can interrupt her, and silence is treated as you thinking rather than as your turn ending.

Pick the accent, and it holds

The same Urdu sentence sounds different across Pakistan, and she keeps whichever you chose for the whole conversation rather than drifting back to neutral after a few turns:

• Lahori — warmer and more relaxed, with the Punjabi-influenced rhythm.
• Karachi — quicker and more urban, with the English mixing that is ordinary there.
• Sargodha — the central-Punjab rhythm and phrasing.
• Sialkoti — the intonation and vocabulary of the Sialkot side.
• Pure / literary — precise vocabulary, correct izafat, minimal English.

What the voices actually are

Four feminine voices to choose from. They are high-quality general-purpose voices — the Pakistani manner comes from how she is instructed to speak, not from a voice model trained on Pakistani speakers. Saying otherwise would be the easy claim to make and it would not be true.

Speaking Urdu and typing it are one conversation

Start by voice on your phone, carry on by typing on a laptop, and the topic, the history and what she remembers come with you. You are not starting again somewhere else.

• A live connection — there is no offline Urdu voice mode.
• Microphone permission, in the browser or the Android app.
• Adjustable mic sensitivity on Android, for noisy rooms.
• Sessions have limits, so a very long call may need restarting.
