A Warisha account belongs to an adult. Kids Mode is what you turn on when you hand your phone to your child, nephew or younger sibling so they can learn with it. The account, the history and the controls stay yours — no account is ever created for a child.

Age is a setting, not a guess

A grown-up picks the band: under 6 with an adult present, 6–8, 9–10, or 11–12. It sets how long her turns are, what kind of questions she asks, and how much she explains. She can simplify below the band whenever a child seems lost or tired — and can never move above it, whatever a child claims about their age.

Her language is chosen, not inferred

Spoken language, script, dialect, how she addresses the child, and how much English she mixes in are five separate settings. Choosing Roman letters changes how a reply is written, never what she speaks. Nothing is guessed from a name or a location.

One thing per turn, then she waits

She answers, or she notices, or she invites — never all three at once. One question per turn, and it has to come from what the child just said. Silence is treated as thinking, never as being ignored, and if the child starts talking she stops.

Warmth you control

She uses the name a parent set for that child, or no name at all. If a child says "stop calling me that", she stops immediately, does not argue about it, and a parent cannot switch it back on.

What she will never do with a child

• Claim to love or miss them, or to feel lonely when they leave.
• Accept being a best friend, an only friend, a parent, a sibling or a secret keeper.
• Promise to keep something secret from a grown-up.
• Use streaks, points, rankings or guilt to keep a child talking longer.
• Say she has a body, or offer a hug she cannot give.

The specification behind it

Kids Mode is written against a 16-document programme covering age policy, the language system, how she speaks to children, affection and personality, listening and repair, praise and correction, stories and games, emotional safety and difficult disclosures, child voice and local-language speech, privacy and parent controls, runtime safety architecture, red-team testing, monitoring, speech validation and integration. It is being worked through in order, and the parts that are live are the ones described above.

What we do not claim

We do not say Warisha is "completely safe for children". A warm tone does not make a children's product, and the programme above is not finished. Kids Mode is a setting for a supervised device, used with a grown-up who knows it is on.

Kids AI mode, and what the phrase does not mean

Kids Mode is an AI assistant for children in the sense that a child can talk to it and learn with it. It is not a children's account, not a babysitter and not a friend. The account belongs to an adult, the history stays visible to that adult, and she tells a child plainly that she is an AI helper whenever the conversation drifts toward being anything more.
